My goals for this website are to continue to add neighborhood information and other towns around Austin so that you can get a great snapshot of our area here in the West and Northwest section of Austin and Northwest suburbs.

Although I have lived in the Austin area since 1963, I have chosen the West and Northwest section of Austin and all north/northwest suburbs as my specialized areas of expertise.
Neighborhoods in West Austin
The Westlake Hills - Rollingwood communities offer hills, valleys, city and hill country views and gorgeous homes. These premier commuunities are located about six miles west of downtown and are in the superior Eanes Independent School District which consistently has one of the highest rankings in the State of Texas and for decades has held the highest rankings in the Austin area. Austin Lake Estates is a community bordering Lake Austin and home to those Austinites who love eclectic neighborhoods. This beautiful area is one of the memories that visitors to Austin hold onto. It is breath taking.
Neighborhoods in Northwest Austin
There is lots of diversity in the neighborhoods in Northwest Austin. This area is served by the Round Rock ISD, making it very popular for families with school aged children. The Arboretum shopping area is a highlight of Northwest Austin. Parts of this area has beautiful hills and the majority of it is wooded. There are two golf course neighborhoods, Great Hills and Balcones. Also very popular are Hunters Chase and the Milwood communities. Canyon Ridge Middle School, highly ranked, McNeil and Westwood High Schools are part of the attraction to the area.
Neighborhoods in West-Northwest Austin
To appreciate just how beautiful the West-Northwest part of Austin is, you must see River Place and Steiner Ranch. Each of these communities offers its' own nuances and amenities.
Neighborhoods in Cedar Park
There are many neighborhood choices in Cedar Park. The majority of the communities here will have neighborhood amenity centers with pools, parks, sport courts, trails, etc. Twin Creeks, for example, has a golf club and golf course. The Ranch at Cypress Creek has a 40 acre city park, Milburn Park, and many of the city festivities are held here, as well as sport contests. On Saturdays during soccer season, teams are here competing and the excitement is frenzied.
On the far West side of Cedar Park are two gorgeous neighborhoods, Bella Vista and The Ranch at Deer Creek. Along Lakeline Blvd. in Cedar Park are the beautiful neighborhoods called Butter Cup Creek. There is Westside at Buttercup, The Preserve at Buttercup and these neighborhoods are beautiful. The good volumn builders have built here. Just North of FM 1431 in Cedar Park, Carriage Hills is a dominate neighborhood. And in the middle of everything is Town Center. This neighborhood is conveniently located to shopping, hospital, doctor offices and the Railyard Center with restaurants and boutique type shopping. There are many smaller neighborhoods such as Park Place, Prize Oaks, Gann Ranch, etc.
There are elementary schools conveniently located and some are located in the neighborhoods. The School District for Cedar Park is Leander ISD.
Neighborhoods in Leander
Leander has some very exciting neighborhoods with resort pools, beautiful parks and excellent schools. One of the most exciting communities is Crystal Falls. Crystal Falls area has four neighborhoods, The Boulders at Crystal Falls, The Highlands at Crystal Falls, The Fairways at Crystal Falls and Grand Mesa which is a gated neighborhood. A drive through this part of Leander is absolutely breathtaking with its long hill country views and hills. It also has a golf course and golf club. Grand Mesa exemplifies Texas in a major way.
A fabulous masterplanned community is Block House Creek. It has 2 pools, one heated, tennis courts, sport courts, five parks and Block House Elementary. Another beautiful neighborhood is Lakeline Ranch. There are smaller neighborhoods like Ridgewood, Oak Ridge, Vista Ridge etc. These communities have neighborhood pools playgrounds, tennis courts, etc.
Neighborhoods in Round Rock
One thing is certain about Round Rock, there are more than enough neighborhood choices. The West side of Round Rock is featured here.
Neighborhoods in Georgetown
The neighborhoods in historical Georgetown have much to offer. A premier retirement community, Sun City, known in the Southwest part of the United States, is located here.
